Hello!

Hello. This is me – the gal behind the lens. I am an independent professional natural-light photographer. I am a former elementary educator of an I.B. World School located in Northern Michigan - over 22 years as a teacher. I have three fabulous adult children in their thirties and two amazing grandkids. I am married to my high school sweetheart.

I love a good cup of coffee.

I love (sweep or scull) rowing on Lake Leelanau.

I love my clucking brood of chickens.

I love original artwork especially children’s.

I love my snuggly, little dog – Willow.

I love a good serving of crispy bacon.

I love the thrill of downhill skiing.

I love hiking during all four seasons.

I love reading a good book and that includes children’s picture books.

I love to travel to mountain ranges, seasides, and more.

I love a soul-filling day at the hair salon.

I love family-friendly music festivals.

I love writing stories and snippets about life.

I love my family more than bacon.

That’s me in a nutshell.
